The Black Rose Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) is a striking freshwater shrimp that adds depth and contrast to any aquarium. Known for its sleek, dark coloration and active scavenging habits, this shrimp is both visually stunning and highly beneficial for maintaining a clean, balanced tank.

Black Rose Shrimp are peaceful, hardy, and beginner-friendly, making them a perfect choice for planted aquariums and community tanks. They thrive in groups and actively graze some species of algae, biofilm, and leftover food, helping to reduce waste and maintain water quality.

Key Features:
✔️ Beautiful deep black coloration – a unique, eye-catching addition
✔️ Excellent clean up crew – helps keep the tank clean naturally
✔️ Hardy and adaptable – perfect for beginners and experts alike
✔️ Peaceful and community-friendly, safe with most small fish and shrimp
✔️ Great for planted tanks, blending beautifully with lush greenery

Care Tips:
🌡️ Water Temperature: 20-26°C (68-79°F)
📏 Tank Size: Minimum 20 litres recommended
🥦 Diet: Algae, biofilm, shrimp pellets, blanched vegetables, and occasional protein-based foods {this species will not eat black beard, hair algae, cyanobacteria, blue green and some slime algaes}
💧 Water Conditions: pH 6.5-7.5, moderate water flow with stable parameters

Add Black Rose Shrimp to your aquarium for a stunning, low-maintenance, and hardworking freshwater invertebrate that enhances both the look and health of your tank!

Colour looks best on light substrates.

Please note that although clean-up crews can help make thriving ecosystems within your aquariums, they are not great to add for the sole purpose of fixing an imbalance. This can contribute to that problem by adding more to the bioload, which can cause more algae. They will also need to be fed their own food. and cannot solely rely on what is in your aquarium.
