Our tropical springtail starter cultures are perfect for beginning or boosting your clean-up crew population in bioactive setups. These tiny beneficial insects feed on mold, decaying leaves, and waste, helping to keep your enclosure clean and balanced naturally.
Each starter culture is bred in-house at Aquarelle Aquatics to ensure you receive a healthy, active colony ready to grow and establish in your enclosure. Once introduced, springtails will quickly multiply and spread through the substrate, helping to maintain a stable and self-cleaning environment.
Great for terrariums, vivariums, and bioactive enclosures housing isopods, phasmids, amphibians, or reptiles.
Care:
Keep slightly damp and out of direct heat. Feed a small pinch of yeast, rice or fish food occasionally to maintain growth.
You will get a mixture of Adults, juveniles and eggs to really start you’re new culture strong with every life stage from the beginning.
